John Malaiperuman BSc (hons), Dip. Arch, RIBA ( CA), AABC trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.
Over the past 40 years his career has covered the design of a great variety of building types, including universities, schools, offices, theatres, and housing.
He now specialises in the sensitive adaptation of historic buildings to new uses.
His portfolio includes Grade I and II listed houses, churches, offices, and historic gardens.
He is on the approved list of architects for the dioceses of Bristol and Salisbury, in which capacity he is able to carry out quinquennial inspections and reordering projects.
Recent work has included an ecobarn conversion in Cumbria, an extension to a cottage in Somerset, the reordering of two Somerset parish churches, and conservation work to an important country park in Wales.
