The roof covering blew off in a storm in 2013. My survey revealed severe corrosion of the wrought iron roof beams. Some of the cast iron columns had fractures, and the decision was taken to dismantle and shotblast the ironwork in a specialist workshop. The frame was repaired and repainted in new green and gold livery before being returned to site for reassembly.
